Theory Studios was tasked with creating high quality visuals for the Marine Corps’ Amphibious Combat Vehicle; solving complex visuals for simulating the coasts along Camp Pendleton, California; and rebuilding the Marine Corps’ base at Twentynine Palms.
Hollywood Level Simulations
We used Hollywood-grade production techniques to generate incredibly detailed wave simulations that were later incorporated into Unreal Engine 5.

Theory Studios is led by Emmy nominated creative David Andrade and long-time technologist Mark Olson. Collectively, David and Mark have worked in the media industry for over 20 years in interactive, architecture and TV. Our credits include: Walt Disney Imagineering, Man in the High Castle, Silicon Valley and Sesame Street.
Theory Studios has pioneered the use of cloud animation technology that lets creators, artists and producers collaborate in real-time from around the world. Our team of 45 creatives covers 7 countries and works in parallel.
In 2017 David and the team were nominated for an Emmy and a VES award for their work on Man in the High Castle’s CGI. Based in Orlando, with satellites offices in Calgary and Glendale, Theory is active in the Digital Animated Shorts, Augmented Reality, and Theme Park space.
